B01YOUR TOTAL TRAVEL COST.
Your total travel cost includes the cost detailed in your quote or invoice plus the added cost of meals (that are not included within your quote), and extra Tanna Adventures services and products purchased while travelling with Tanna Adventures.
B02WE GENERALLY PROVIDE ACCOMMODATION, ALONG WITH TOURS & WALKS.
Generally, most people book Accommodation along with Tours & Walks as a combined travel package with Tanna Adventures. However, there are a variety of means which you are able to book your travel arrangements, and Accommodation can be booked separately (on our booking engine), or as a combined package with our Tours & Walks (through our personalised itineraries which we sort out by email).
B03BOOKING ACCOMMODATION ONLY.
If you only require Accommodation, you are able to go directly to our online booking engine, book, pay and confirm your accommodation. Guests who are involved in the coffee industry, or those who want to enjoy a quiet environment where they can enjoy the unspoilt surroundings may wish to book accommodation only. You are free to book Tours & Walks subsequently.
BO5BOOKING TOURS & WALKS ONLY.
If you are not staying with us, you are able to book your Tours & Walks by requesting a personalised itinerary on our "Booking Request Form". We generally respond within 24 hours (but often before this), and once we know your flight details we provide two(2) or three(3) itineraries, to suit your pace and activity preferences.
BO6SECURE ACCOMMODATION 1ST + 'FOLLOW ON' TOURS & WALKS BOOKING.
You are able to initially book your Accommodation to secure your room, and date preferences by going directly to our online availability and booking engine, book, pay and confirm your accommodation.
Once we receive your Accommodation booking we will, within 24 hours, contact you in regard to providing personalised itinerary options for Tours and Walks for you to consider. Our subsequent contact is similar to our personalised Booking Service below.
B07FULL PERSONALIZED BOOKING SERVICE.
This has generally been the main means of Booking with Tanna Adventures in the past, although likely to change with the introduction of our accommodation availability and booking engine.
You are able to book both your full Tanna Island Experience ........... Accommodation plus Tours & Walks by requesting a personalised itinerary on our "Booking Request Form". We generally respond within 24 hours (but often before this), and once we know your flight details we provide two(2) or three(3) itineraries, to suit your pace and activity preferences.
B08PLEASE NOTE : PLACES ON OUR TOURS & WALKS ARE LIMITED.
You should book your Tours & Walks as soon as possible, to ensure that you don't miss out. Our Tours & Walks are designed to be in smaller personalised groups and by their nature, their places are limited.
B09PAYMENT IS MADE IN TWO PARTS.
Payment consists of the payment of two separate and distinct sums of money : -
A Deposit at the time of booking to secure a confirmed booking, and
A Final Payment at the end of your time with us.
The Deposit is paid in either American (US$), European (Euro), Australian (AU$), or New Zealand (NZ$) Currency. We accept payment of the Deposit either by PayPal, credit card (Visa or MasterCard only ) or Bank Transfer. The Final Payment is made in Cash (Vatu) to Esso at the end.
Generally, full trip bookings (accommodation, tours, and walks all booked at the same time) will always be booked using our Personalized Booking Page or our Contact Page.
NOTE : Payment of Deposits for accommodation bookings through our Booking Engine are by PayPal only, however should you wish to pay by the other means, please contact us on our Personalized Booking Page or our Contact Page.
The Deposit required for Accommodation is 50%, while that for Tours & Walks is less depending on the makeup of those Tours & Walks, but will be provided to you at the time of Booking. By paying the Deposit you will secure a confirmed Accommodation and/or Tours & Walk itinerary.
B11FORMAL CONFIRMATION DOCUMENTATION.
Once you have paid your Deposit we will send you your Formal Documentation (PDF format), by email. This consists of our official receipt along with your confirmed formal itinerary, which also provides you the breakdown of your Deposit, along with a clear statement of what is left to pay (minus extras, such as lunch and dinner meals) for your Final Payment.
B12YOUR FINAL PAYMENT.
Esso will provide you with a Final Invoice taking into account the payment of the Deposit. The Final Payment is made in Cash (Vatu) to Esso at the end of your time at with us, and you should ensure that you have sufficient Vatu for this.
B13ADVICE OF PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF TIMES AND DATES.
We will be in contact with you to advise pick-up and drop-off arrangements once your have fully paid your Deposit, at the time of issuing you yopur Formal Documentation. All queries in regards to your booking arrangements should be directed to the contacts listed on our website.
B14TOUR & WALK PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT.
A part of the appeal of Tanna island is that has been relatively left alone ( say what Fiji was 100 years ago), but this does make organising things not always easy. It is best to get thing organised before you go even if you are an independent traveller, as things do take time to get organised and if you leave to the time when you arrive, there is a good chance that things just don’t happen. You can call it the Melanesian way, but its more just a lack of resources.
There are plenty of visitors to Tanna Island ( staying elsewhere - of course), that fail to appreciate the difficulty in having things planned, hope that they can get to do some awesome stuff ............ only to miss out completely because they thought they could organize it on the fly when they got there !
